Step by step

Prepare Asset List & FRC
Compile complete inventory of deceased's movable assets and obtain fresh FRC from NADRA.

Application Submission
Submit application at designated NADRA Succession facilitation center.

Biometric Verification of Heirs
All legal heirs visit the center for biometric consent (overseas heirs verify via Pak-ID app).

National Newspaper Publication
NADRA publishes a public notice in national newspapers. 14 days are allowed for public objections.

Issuance of Digital Certificate
If no objection is raised, the digital Succession Certificate is issued with encrypted QR code.
Common mistakes
- ×Attempting to use this for immovable agricultural land or houses without also planning land mutation (Intiqal)
- ×Omitting an heir (e.g. second wife or daughter), which makes the certificate void and forces civil litigation
